Yesterday we visited another village [I don't know the name (tear)]. The kids there are so amazing and sweet, they were the type of community that took care of each other. The first village we visited all the students would try and trick us into giving them more than their fair share, but in the village we just visited I saw the older kids sharing with the younger ones.It is this type of community that has been lost in modernized America, and I hate it. I was so much sadder to leave because the kids followed us to our cars and waved as we drove away. I almost jumped out of the car to live there.

Today we visited Woodstock school and got to sit in on Mr. Seedeldt's class, India History class, and got interviewed in Journalism class. Then we got to separate and roam around Mussourie. I bought way too much stuff and am now all shopped out [you should be very happy mom].

Wow has it been that long since I had had a touch of the outside world [kidding it's only been two days and lots of fun]

HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY DANI!!!

On our way up to Mussouri yesterday we had lots of fun with our bus driver [haha, not really] and we almost got killed by some protesters, just kidding mom [about the killed part not the protesters]

Then today we went on one of the most beautiful nature walks EVER between us and the small village school we visited. Everything was peacefull and pretty on the way to the village but on the way back we heard people yelling and thought that it was more protesters [ended up being a lot of men carrying down a rather large battery that shoved us off the trail]. This has turned out to be a very interesting trip with almost anything that could possibly happen to us happen.

This is the morning of day two of the trip and we are about to get on an 8 hr bus ride to Mussouri.

Yesterday, we went to the tomb of the second emperor of India. It was extremely beautiful with lots of tombs surrounding it [even his barber]. We took lots of pictures [just for you mom]. After we went to the marketplace and it was nothing like what I expected. I thought that it would be a little more crowded. To make my parents happy I did not spend all my money, YET, hehe. I still have another market place to do that. Anyway just blogging to say that everything is ok.
