Where to begin? We got home too late last night to blog about our day yesturday, so I'll begin with that.

Yesterday was an amazing day. We woke up, ate breakfast (as usual), and then headed out for a 45 minute taxi ride to Manoj's second village school. We stopped along the way to visit a waterful, which ms seefeldt says is a great tourist attraction, it was quite lovely, and then we continued on our way to the village school. Once we arrived at this school I was speechless. The beauty of the mountains surrounding us, and the deep love for Christ that the people (school teachers, manoj, and students included) was breath taking.

We introduced ourselves to the kids, and teachers and then we prayed. After praying we got to play with the kids. Keely, Kathy, Brittany, Matt and myself began teaching the children songs and got the privlage to learn a few of their dance moves (they are pretty amazing if i must say so myself.) After dancing and singing it was time to settle down, I walked over to Katherine who was holding the most adorable little girl. The girl had completely warmed up due to Katherines love. The little girl climbed over into my lap, and it was love at first sight from there on. We played and played until it was time to leave, it was an emotional leave, but bitter sweet all the same. We are off for our day today, maybe i will try to blog a little more later!

Waking up at 7:15 this morning was a bit of a struggle, but the day was amazing. We woke up ate breakfast, and then began our hike to the village where the school we are helping at was located. The hike wasn't short, but we all got through it with great strength, and no injuries! :)

The children of the village school were so welcoming despite the language barrier. Keely and I spent a good hour teaching them songs and doing hand motions along with them. The hokey pokey was a popular one, youd be AMAZED at how out of breath it will make you ;-).

Most importantly God's creation is SO beautiful, and i often take it for granted. The scenery on the way to the village was breathtaking. In the village there was a sick man, whom we stopped to pray with, it was very moving. I have taken so much in my life for granted when i have more than i need. Please pray for all of our hearts to be softened, and filled with the love of Christ!

Despite a little bit of sunburn everyone is doing well. We are getting what Ms Seefeldt calls "the true taste of india" on our hike back we had to scramble to the other side of the mountain because there were about 30 men carrying a hot water heater sliding down the mountain very eventful. :)

I got a henna tatoo...on my hand...and i want it off...oh well. :)

I am having a blessed time and am SO thankful for this wonderful oppurtunity!

Dinner is in 10 mins so I shall go eat!
